It was decided that the unit must be defective and he told me he was sending me another unit. Two days later it was in my mailbox. I hooked it up again and this time no hiss. The unit picks up all tones and reproduces them perfectly from the Cajon drum. We also tried it with Conga’s and an acoustic base guitar. Awsome sound reproduction! I honestly would not expect this kind of quality sound from such a small and relatively inexpensive device. I spoke with Gregg again later that day and he offerred to put a few bucks onto my PayPal account to cover return shipping of the defective unit in effort to find out what was wrong with it so he can ensure it won’t happen again to future prospective buyers.
