eBay SALT AND PEPPER SHAKERS Shabby Chic style FANCY PORCELAIN HAND PAINTED by Dolores Chamberlain These are beautiful large (4.75” tall, and 3” in diameter, at the base) fine porcelain salt & pepper shakers. They are hand-painted and signed (the pepper shaker is) by the late Dolores Chamberlain, a local Miami artist. These come from her personal estate collection, the items she created for her own personal use. This is the only set in the whole world! The flower design covers the entire sides of these shakers and more flowers cover the top. The top is trimmed with a light-pink ribbon accentuating the scalloped edging. The bottom of the sides is also lightly scalloped. The shakers were painted in the Victorian-style and have a vintage look around them. Dolores decorated these with pink dogwood flowers. The background has a slight pink tone to it and the flowers have blue aura around them. They are adorned by spring-fresh green leaves. Each shaker has a large hole at the bottom, stopped with a large cork – see an image. The only distinction between the salt and the pepper shaker is its holes. The salt shaker has large sea-salt size holes and the pepper shaker has minute holes.
