A: Everything comes from smoke-free, pet-free, windowless storage. Q: Is XYZ real/authentic? A: We only deal in real/authentic items. So, allow us to address potential concerns and allay potential fears: – The vast majority of anime stuff that we sell is out of our own collection (or excess from Yahoo Japan Auctions lot auctions), and we would never buy “maligned” items for ourselves. – Generally, less-than-genuine (eBay doesn’t like the ‘b’ word) collectible merchandise doesn’t ship from the US. – Generally, non-genuine collectibles have a stock photo from the manufacturer’s website or something, and nothing else. For stuff that WE sell like this, we usually post many photos of the actual item. A practice that someone who wishes to obfuscate their product’s quality, usually isn’t in the habit of doing. – Most anime goods ARE NOT made in Japan. Despite pedantically puerile protestations from the weeb contingent, like most things made of plastic or plush, a large chunk of anime goods are made in China. Back in the 1980s or so a lot of toys and video games were made in Japan, but beginning with the 90s, most production shifted to other East Pacific nations. In fact, most of Takara Tomy A.R.T.S.’ stuff is produced in Vietnam these days. The one exception we can think of off the top of our heads is that some Gundam Plamo (Plastic Models) are still made in Japan. Outside of those, you’d be hard-pressed to find anything anime-y that’s mass-manufactured, that’s still made in Japan. So, just because you see Made in China on something, doesn’t mean it’s a non-genuine product. – As we publish in all anime-related auctions we post; we ARE (were) collectors. Nearly everything, anime-wise, that we have has come from somewhere in Japan. We’d made online purchases from Hobby Search, AmiAmi, Hobbylink Japan, Mandarake, cdJapan, etc, as early as 2006, and Yahoo Japan Auctions starting in 2009. Q: Does X come with ? A: We try our best to be completely transparent about what we offer and the condition in which it is being sold. That’s why we use only plain backgrounds, with nothing that could be misinterpreted as being included alongside the item or items for sale. That said, what you see is generally what you get. Certain exceptions are, when a blind box/bag/ball item is posted and the packaging isn’t included, sometimes we will put an example package in the listing photo, so people will know what series is being advertised when they’re browsing. Q: It says that my package has been shipped, but it isn’t moving! Why hasn’t it been dropped off? A: We ship via USPS, who, as you may or may not know, can be extremely slow. The carrier that picks up our packages seldom scans them, and on rare occasions can go unscanned/not updated for 3-4 days. Needless to say, we have no control over USPS’ handling of packages after they leave our possession. That said, we’ve never had a package truly get lost, and we would ask for your patience and understanding in this matter. Q: When is my order going to ship? A: We ship five days a week, Monday through Friday. That said, we often schedule pickups for Saturdays, as well. Q: Do you ship to my country? A: Generally, we ship worldwide. We ship ONLY through eBay’s International Shipping Program. (This is old info, as the ISP is pretty much the only way that eBay allows sellers to ship abroad, now. And we are totally fine with that.) Q: Why is shipping to my country so expensive?! A: We DO NOT control the cost of international shipping. When you purchase an item as an international customer of eBay’s International Shipping Program, we prepare and ship your item to a shipping center in the US. Once there, eBay then handles the rest; including customs forms and the dispatch of your package internationally. We aren’t even able to see how much you are charged by eBay for the international shipping portion of the transaction. A: We only ship to Paypal-registered addresses that the buyer submits in their transaction. It is up to you, as the buyer, to ensure that your address is correct.
