Black 7″ Brake Booster Wilwood Master Cylinder + Bracket MOPAR Dodge A B E Body Hydro Brake Booster Wilwood Master Cylinder + Bracket fits MOPAR Dodge A B E Body Description This is brand new Hydraulic Brake Booster, a new Wilwood Black Aluminum Tandem Master Cylinder and a new Black Brake Booster Firewall Mounting Bracket good fit for your Mopar 1965-70 A Body and 1965-74 B & E Body cars. Hydro-boost hydraulic braking systems are capable of delivering significantly greater pressure through a braking system than a vacuum boost. In some cases, you can more than double the pounds of pressure being distributed to your brakes simply by opting for hydro-boost. This quality Hydro-Boost hydraulic brake assist power booster generates up to 1800psi of line pressure to the brake calipers. It is fitted with a cast iron ”Corvette style” Master Cylinder and disc / drum Proportioning Valve. This kit is powered by hydraulic line pressure from the power steering pump. Firewall and valve cover clearance is equivalent to a 7″ diameter vacuum booster and the included firewall mounting brackets are correct for 1967-72 Chevy and GMC Trucks. The average power steering pump puts out from 800psi to 1400psi line pressure. The Hydro-Boost uses this pressure to “boost” the force on the master cylinder’s brake fluid and therefore apply more force to the brake calipers (and subsequently more force on the rotors with the brake pads). This greatly improves stopping performance and driver feedback. Master cylinder has full separation between the front and rear chambers. Dual outlets allow for right or left hand plumbing based on mount location. Offers a total piston stroke of 1.10″ and a 2:1 volume ratio between the primary and secondary chambers. This master cylinder comes with a 1.00″ bore size and with a black E-coat finish.
