Circa 1988COOKIN’ WITH CODMANRecipes compiled by Associates of Codman and Shurtleff, 41 Parcella Park Drive, Randolph, Massachusetts. Company was established in 1838. Inside the cookbook it says, ”Cookin’ with Codman is a collection of outstanding recipes from the associates of Codman and Shurtleff, Inc. Within these pages we have shared our culinary secrets in order to benefit the United Way and our local communities.” Softcover with spiral binding, measures 8.75″ by 6″ and contains 217 numbered pages. Contents all text no photos. See photo of table of contents – appetizers, breads and rolls, desserts, main dishes, soups and salads, vegetables, etcetera. NOTE – it is not dated, however, intro page mentions it had been around more than 150 years so that is why I say circa 1988 publication or end of the 1980’s estimate. Condition as shown in the photos. Former owner handwrote a recipe on page 202 as shown in the photo. Overall this book is in good condition. It has some age and use wear, light soiling marks here and there on the yellow covers and same in places inside where former owner turned and used. No water stains.
