As noted elsewhere, the AC cord is a standard type meaning you can substitute a longer or shorter one of your own if you wish; and the DC output cord / cable is protected against internal cord conductor failure from repeated bending, at the location where it enters the AC adapter’s body, by a ”strain relief” collar. CONDITION Typical used condition e.g. fine scratches and scuffs. No cracks, holes, or other signs of abuse. Tested DC output 12.0 volts with a reliable Fluke multimeter. Standard non-polarized (the 2 blades are both the same size and shape, can plug into either polarized or non-polarized grounded or non-grounded outlet) detachable 13′ AC Input cord with standard non-polarized (”figure 8” shaped) connector; can substitute a longer or shorter compatible cable of your own. No 3 prong ”grounded” style cord or outlet needed as this unit is designed to take a non-polarized non-grounded AC cord, as you can see in the listing photos. The integrated ”strain relief collar” on the DC output cord is in fine shape, clearly still doing its job. Those of you who remember Apple ”wired” mice which at least used to eventually become flaky then fail outright because of the weak construction of their data cable that simply disappeared right into the mouse body caused internal wires to eventually break inside the cable jacket at that location — due to the repeated flexing at that location, inherent in how mice are used — will appreciate that Apple got it right with protecting this unit’s DC output cable (even though you probably won’t be flexing it as often as would be the case with mice)! The charger/adapter body is standard white color. Something about the quality of light when and where the photos were taken suggests that it is more ”ivory” in color but that is in fact not true. The DC and AC cords are a slightly darker shade than the unit’s body, maybe ”off-white”. The only reason I’m selling this without the Airport Extreme Base Station it was originally in use with, is that it appears that I’d be unlikely to get more by selling this adapter together with that Base Station, than by selling it alone. So you don’t need to worry that this is being sold because it ”fried” the unit it was in use with, since that did not in fact happen and this unit as noted above was tested to provide its rated DC output.
