With this separation function, serious neck injuries and equipment damage can be minimized or avoided.The second mode allows the universal NVG base to lock the base securely.Description:The separation function allows the mounting to be separated under pressure or locked firmly in place by a release lever.The lock release lever allows the NVG height to be easily adjusted up and down and then secured.The installation of the release lever allows the operator to easily set the desired mode (disengaged or locked) as required for operation.An ergonomic flip release button can ”pop” the base to the stowed position when installing goggles. The pivot mechanism is simple and firm in design and will not become loose over time.The tilt adjustment knob allows the operator to fine tune the tilt angle of the NVG.The front and rear release levers allow the goggles to move forward and backward.
