This original vintage press photo features Japanese actress Keiko Kishi (1932- ). She is very pretty and has a wonderful smile. She has acted in both film and television. Her acting debut occurred in 1951.Among her most well known appearances are “Brother (1960)”, “Kah-chan (2001)”, and “The Twilight Samurai (2002)”. In 2002, she won the Japan Academy Prize for best actress for her role in “Kah-Chan”.She was married to Yves Ciampi (1956-1975). He was a French film director. Their marriage ended in divorce.In 1996, she was named a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The IMDb cites 85 acting credits for Kishi between 1950 and 2013.
