Vehicle has been inspected by a local reputable repair shop and inspection station, AND OF COURSE, MYSELF. I am a notorious car collector and automobile specialist. I am Describing this vehicle to the best of my knowledge and will do my best to answer any and all questions you may have. Vehicle description: ~ 1999 Mercedes-Benz SLK 230. KOMPRESSOR (supercharged). This Car has a 2.3L 4 cylinder supercharged engine that is not only fuel efficient….. But it also has power thanks to the KOMPRESSOR. The car is light and nimble and handles EXCELLENT. It’s like driving a Go-Kart. It takes premium, and gets fully synthetic oil as per dealer. Even with premium, it doesn’t fill up with much, and has plenty of pep, so it’s a practical sports car. The top was serviced recently (maintenance). No leaks, all functions are par. Has REAL AMG wheels as I believe they were ordered as part of the AMG appearance package. The interior is clean, all electronics work perfectly. The center shift book has a little crack on the bottom (see pics). It is an older car and won’t be perfect, but it’s beautiful, clean, maintained and what you’d expect from an original car with 43K miles. ZERO RUST SUMMER CAR ONLY. Paint is original. Tires are fairly new. No mechanical issues, leaks or problems. Heat and A/C work excellent! ~ Interior: Leather is clean and has normal age/wear. The buttons all work, Power locks, power windows work great, Heat and air work perfectly. All interior lighting works, all power seat functions work. Smells great, typical Mercedes Benz smell, The carpets are clean and plush. The Driver’s bottom cushion had a repair done at one point and is not perfect but clean and proper! Small crack on the part around the stick shift, and the Dash by the glovebox (hard to see in pictures after repair) ~ Engine: This car has a SUPERCHARGED Inline DOHC 2.3L engine. The Kompressor system is Mercedes Benz’s version which runs off the clutch and has a variable boost control system. These cars can be tuned and slightly modified allowing for much more performance easily and inexpensively. The engine is healthy, has LOW miles and all fluids are correct clean and of proper color ~Transmission: MANUAL 5 speed, doesn’t get better than that. Shifts excellent, no grinding or strange noises. It has a good healthy clutch and it is working properly as it should. Lines are good, All components are in great condition. No leaks. No vibrations all gears shift excellent. ~ Conv. TOP: Has new fluids. Replaced the rear pump this past summer. Top works great! Goes up and down without issue. No leaks on the cylinders. All switches and locks operational. ~ Suspension: The suspension is exceptional in this car, it handles like a Go kart. It is firm yet nimble and hugs the corners properly. No issues with any suspension components, no noises. As expected from a clean car with 40K miles ~ Brakes: The brakes are excellent, pads have lots of life left; all corners checked. (all 4 wheels) Emergency Brake working fine. ~ Body: Very clean condition. The paint is excellent! ALL ORIGINAL PAINT The paint is clean and bears no serious damage or scratches if any. All rubber components are in great shape, all trim pieces are clean and neat. VERY nice all around. Lights and exterior up to par. ~ Tires / Wheels: The tires are clean and have plenty of life on them 75-80%. Michelin Tires all around. Wheels are CLEAN no issues or peeling or curb rash. CLEAN. (normal use) ~ Undercarriage: CLEAN. This has mostly been a garage queen. It hardly leaves the garage on nice days let alone rain/snow. It is 100% rust free.
